Teaching Philosophies

Ballet Redefined

My goal is to change some of the status quo of teaching ballet that is illogical, outdated, and sometimes harmful, while keeping the most meaningful parts of ballet as a technique and art alive.

Healthy Dancing For All

I delight in sharing my knowledge and excitement for ballet with all students. Close attention is paid in every class to alignment, turn out from the hips, using the correct muscles and why. Personalizing ballet technique is the magic needed for all body types, and ages, to enjoy ballet for decades.

Safe Dancing for All

I am excellent at applying kinesiology and physics to ballet class. I have the ability to break down the steps and the science behind corrections in a way that helps dancers learn to understand the “why and how” of the movement. This teaching style empowers dancers to internalize how my corrections will help them dance with more ease, power and less injuries.

Christina’s workshop was so beneficial that I could see greater achievement of goals in one class time. I would highly recommend her for any workshop or dance class.

I was blessed to be taught by Christina both in ballet and as a figure skater. One of the things I loved about being her student is she made you believe you could achieve excellence in all you did, and she inspired me to always try to be better.

Christina Noel-Adcock is a wonderful teacher because she truly loves ballet and has always done her best to learn as much as possible. She has that precious seeking spirit which inspires her to continue to study and learn so that she can share her knowledge with her students.

Finis Jhung

Ballet Master Teacher

Her kind and respectful communication in instruction encourages hard work while developing positive self-talk and image. These are rare gifts in the dance world in a teacher. If you are looking for a place for your young dancer or you are looking to refine your technique, needing a ballet variation “cleaned” until it shines, or you are looking to learn or refine your teaching skills and eye for improving your dancers.

Christina’s intuition is amazing, her innate sense of what works and why. She had many great tips that are easily applicable in all of the classes I teach: from jazz to ballet, children to adult, beginning to advanced levels. She has a wonderful sense of humor and is generous with individual feedback.

“Working with Christina Noel has been nothing short of extraordinary. As both a teacher and a professional in the dance world, she is a true legend. Christina has a unique ability to blend the art of ballet with a deep understanding of physical therapy, creating a teaching style that goes beyond the studio.

Her approach to training has had a profound impact on my body and my dance technique. Christina’s focus on efficiently warming up the body, rather than forcing shapes and positions, has improved both my strength and flexibility. Through her guidance, I’ve gained a better understanding of my own body—how to move with greater control, fluidity, and awareness. Each class with Christina not only challenges me to grow as a dancer, but also helps me to develop a stronger, more resilient body for the demands of our craft.

Christina’s teachings are more than just about perfecting a ballet step; she gives us the tools to sustain a long, healthy dance career. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn from someone whose expertise has shaped my journey as a professional dancer.”
